The 24 Hours week is so amazing!! The
Castle of Chanteloup usually welcomes a
racing team (i.e.: Lola in 2000, Ascari
in 2001, Taurus in 2003 and 2004,
Miracle in 2005) and many of racing and
cars fans, mainly English. They arrive
at the beginning of the week with their
Lotus, Ultima, Marcos, Porsche or even
Palmer for the craziest ! |

The atmosphere level increases
at the bar and on the terrace as
fast as the draught bear level
decreases in glasses. The
atmosphere is at its top level
on Friday evening with the
famous “Elegance Contest” and
“Sport Cars Show” which takes
place after the pilots’ parade
in Le Mans. The most beautiful
cars are carefully selected for
the show in front of the
terrace. After great applauses,
the Chanteloup’s Dream Team
offers an aperitif to its hosts,
and then, the show must go on in
music while respecting every
one’s sleep ! |
