The close area holds much others for you of surprised with small villages to be visited, such as Asnières-on-Vègre, other small cities of character like Large Lucé or sumptuous castles like Lude, one of the Loire castle..

The Loire château are rather close besides and you can easily make the outward journey and return in the course of the day.
