the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Le Mans Classic.
These legendary and iconic endurance car races, held on the circuit south of the city of Le Mans, attract more and more enthusiasts and curious visitors every year. It is an opportunity to come together, have fun, celebrate, and discover incredible cars.
These two events are different: each has its own spirit, its own audience, and its own way of operating.
At Chanteloup, just a stone’s throw from the circuit, we go all out! We put our heart into making sure you leave delighted. Every year, we go above and beyond to create unforgettable memories for you. Come share your passion for automobiles in mid-June and early July, in a pleasant and exceptional setting – a friendly atmosphere guaranteed!
The activities and services offered during the events
Plenty of space to welcome you
There are pitches and cottages, and plenty of room to accommodate both you and your car. Your vehicle can be parked on your pitch or next to the cottages. Many groups enjoy coming together on the large lawns to showcase their classic cars – true ‘rolling memories’. It’s a real show in the heart of the best years.
The events are broadcast live.
A large giant screen is set up on the terrace so you can follow the race if you prefer to stay on-site – the bar is open and the beer is nice and cold!
On-site dining is available.
The restaurant is open, and you can choose to have lunch (by reservation) or dinner at the campsite. There are even takeaway meals available if you don’t feel like going out after a busy and exciting day.
The swimming pool is open.
For swimming and relaxing, the pool awaits you. It’s another great opportunity to unwind after an eventful day at the circuit. A must-stop to recharge your batteries. Our pool is cool and peaceful – a well-deserved moment of tranquility.
A shuttle service to the 24 Hours circuit.
A shuttle service with our partner is available every year between Château de Chanteloup and the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit, making your stay even easier. If you don’t have parking tickets or if you plan to enjoy a drink, it’s highly recommended 😊
Transport service: €30 per person for a round trip, every 30 minutes, from morning until evening and even late into the night. For exact times, please inquire at reception.
THE HIGHLIGHT ACTIVITIES OF THE WEEKEND
On Friday evening:
> A major car competition is held in front of the château – the Sport Car Show!
Each time, 30 cars compete.
For the 24 Hours, a designated jury selects the winners, while for Le Mans Classic, the jury is you!
The selected cars parade in front of the terrace during the 24 Hours of Le Mans. For Le Mans Classic, they are displayed and remain on the large area near the lounge in front of the château. If you have a beautiful car, this is your chance to show it off 😉
The winners will take home a trophy engraved ‘Château de Chanteloup’ – what a wonderful souvenir!
> A cocktail dinner in the château
In the right wing of Château de Chanteloup, a country-style dinner buffet is offered to you: a selection of salads, appetizers, cold cuts, and cheeses, accompanied by sparkling wine and local wines. A guaranteed delight – and it’s free.
> A live band to set the mood
To create a festive atmosphere, a carefully selected music group will accompany this magical event. Enjoy listening to talented musicians while sipping your cocktail.
> The one and only Garden Party
A famous themed evening is organized to celebrate the occasion. The cheerful atmosphere is guaranteed, and if you want to have fun, this is the place to be! This is an experience not to be missed. The atmosphere is always fantastic, and creative spirits truly let their imagination run wild. The themes change every time, so make sure to check 😉.
For the 2026 24 Hours, the theme will be ‘Motor Racing’.
For Le Mans Classic 2026, the theme will be ‘Gold and Silver’.
On Sunday evening:
> The famous roast pig:
A roast pig (paid and by reservation) is regularly organized on Sunday evening. It comes with a menu that changes each time, and the restaurant is always there to pamper you. The wood-fire roasted pork, cooked for hours, is something you simply can’t get enough of 😊
